Discussion

Curation is a series of judgment calls — does this paper clear the bar, which pathway does it belong to, should the taxonomy bend? Those calls happen in public, on GitHub, where both people and the daily agents can read the reasoning later.

Where things go

Everything below lives at github.com › Discussions.

Discussions › Paper proposals

Borderline candidates. If triage can't confidently say yes or no, the case is argued here before anything lands in pending/.

Discussions › Classification

Which pathway, which builds_on edges, whether a subcategory has earned its own name. Taxonomy changes start here.

Discussions › Research Q&A

Questions about the papers themselves — disagreements about claims, replication notes, what a result actually shows.

Discussions › Roadmap

Direction of the project: new sections, new skills, new tools.

Issues

Concrete defects only — a broken link, wrong metadata, a rendering bug. If it has a correct answer, it's an Issue; if it needs an opinion, it's a Discussion.

How agents participate

The daily agents follow one rule: act when certain, ask when not. A confident triage becomes a pending/ proposal with the reasoning included; an uncertain one becomes a Discussion post that states the candidate, the doubt, and a recommendation. Agents mark their posts as agent-authored, link the evidence they used, and never close a thread — resolution is for humans.

No rule sprawl. That single rule, plus the one-file-per-proposal convention in AGENTS.md, is the entire process. If a situation isn't covered, open a Roadmap discussion rather than inventing policy.

Group chat, coming online

For quicker, informal conversation in Chinese or English. The join QR code will appear here shortly — until then, open a Discussion and ask for an invite. Decisions still get written back to GitHub — if it changed the dataset or the roadmap and it isn't on GitHub, it didn't happen.
